Whetstone's Makeup Studios | One Day Intensive Course; Makeup Skills, Selection, and Application Workshop

The Whetstone make up studios have created this One Day Workshop to enhance your makeup skills and give you confidence in makeup selection and application.

Under the guidance of professional make up artists, you will learn the very basics of make up application, building right up to professional techniques. You will be fully confident in your ability to create the looks and styles that will only enhance your natural beauty.

This is the ideal course for someone who doesn't have time to commit to 4 days.

We will condense the information to the key pieces of knowledge you will need to get the best looks on the run. The course will be a full day starting with our make up experts doing a raid on each attendee's make up bag eradicating the bad to make room for the good! We will analyse all skin tones and types and recommend best routines to suit and best shades to match skin tone.

Then we will begin to demonstrate how to achieve a beautiful fresh daytime look and then going into full-on glamour for evening time, introducing colours, how to shade and contour, individual lashes and what colours will best suit.

You will then learn how to do a perfect blow dry on your own hair from a whetstone expert.

The course will be a maximum of 8/10 per class as it is imperative to us at Whetstone that each student feels they have gained the maximum amount of knowledge needed to recreate these looks on themselves or others.

We ask all students to bring their own make up bags and brushes (freshly washed please) for us to analyse and spring clean. We offer a starter pack at a special rate, but all make up will be provided including brushes.

Each attendee will receive a certificate on completion of the course.

This is offered as a full day in salon alternatively we can come to your house or workplace as a Make Up seminar. This is Ideal for offices and team building exercises.
